Californian red worms starter kit to start up a domestic vermicomposter. Due to their great voracity, the Californian red worms are capable of digesting and transforming into worm humus the equivalent of their weight of organic matter in a day and for this reason it is used for vermicompostage. All the worms that we provide are of the Californian species, fed with domestic organic waste, garden waste and manure for a perfect adaptation to your home and garden. Earthworms are also ideal for fishing and feeding birds and reptiles.

- To prepare the kit, worms are manually counted 10-12% of adults, ensuring that the number of adults is the maximum possible. Subsequently, a volume of 3.5 liters of organic matter with the maximum density of worms is added, thus ensuring that it contains the closest possible amount of adults, youngsters, fry and heels.
- The worms are supplied with a container of polexpan and organic matter sufficient for 7-10 days to ensure their survival and protect them from temperature changes during transport.
