Etymology
From the Latin "acer", hard, due to the strength of its wood, and "buergerianum" by the botanist Buerger.
Situation
In a Mediterranean climate, outdoors, in full sun all year round. To avoid burns on the tips of the leaves, it should be protected in summer, from the intense midday sun. In colder climates, protect from frost.
